Released in 2010 the film starred Puneeth, Sumithra, and Bhavana in the lead roles. The film talks about Janakirama alias Jackie, a street-smart loafer who dreams of making it big without any hard work. However, when one of his pranks proves too costly, Jackie decides to set things right.
The film was a blockbuster upon its release, earning Rs. 30 crores worldwide. In a tribute to his legacy, the production house KRG Studios is re-releasing this film on March 15, two days before his 49th birth anniversary.
Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar, also known as Appu, has been a famous Kannada actor who hailed from the family of Kannada superstar Dr. Rajkumar. Nicknamed ‘Power Star’ for his choice of action films, the actor had made a name for himself until he passed away in October 2021 due to a massive cardiac arrest.
