' paired up for the first time in the upcoming Kannada film entitled Maley, helmed by the debutant Shivatejas. But the producer R Chandu reveals that there is another one that plays vital part to the film, the rain.
He mentioned that, "Maley has three heroes — Prem, Amulya and the rain. Rain is vital to the movie, as everyone loves nature and this emotion is heightened in people who are in love."
This is the reason why the most part of the film were filmed in Sakleshpur, which is known to have heavy rainfall. But this also prevents them to shoot continuously. The team initially planned to shoot in Sakleshpur for one schedule, but because it rained so hard in the place, they have to split the shoot into two. The director said that the atmosphere was not so favorable for them, so the shoot was stalled for a while. During the peak, they need to rent 50 water tanks and import it on top of the hill where they shoot.
Amulya also said that the rain keeps following them. There are scenes that don’t require the rain, but it seems that they were being followed by it.
