Bengaluru was once considered a safe town for women. But, this year, there has been news hitting the headlines about sexual assault on women and molestation involving women in it. The fact has changed the entire scenario and has attached the unsafe tag to the city. It is to be noted that popular Kannada rapper Rahul Dit-O has come out with his latest song. The latest number by him is a reaction to this mass hysteria and is a step towards making the assurance that Bangalore is very safe, citing that these incidents are stray incidents.
In fact, the rapper was very angry that Bangalore was shown in a very bad light. He concedes that such stray incidents have to be condemned, but things are being blown out of proportions.
This seems to have made him contemplate on the situation, and he came up with his title song Hauda. The video for the song was shot recently, and it would be released soon. His aim was to make assurance that Bangalore and Bangaloreans wll be helpful, accommodating people. He also requested people to stop branding Bangalore as unsafe.
