.” Aspota is based on the assassination of former PM, Rajiv Gandhi. Earlier, Ramesh had directed two films that are based on the real incidents; one is “Cyanide” and the other is “Attahasa.” Ramesh had been planning to work out the script for a long time and finally he has got the right time to launch it. Ramesh contacted the investigating officers of Rajiv murder case and collected a lot of useful information for his script. He launched the film, as per scheduled in the presence of R Karthikeyan, Special Director CCB (Retd.) and the retired police officers Srinivasan, Ramalingam and Gopal Hosur. The officers requested Ramesh to shoot just what happened and not to sensationalise the criminals and the director agreed to do so. Ramesh has plans to approach
