When he approached the music director V Manohar to get an opportunity to become a singer, Manohar suggested him to become an actor, as he looked smart.
Vijay says, 'I wanted to become a singer. But V Manohar suggested that I become an actor because I am good at acting rather than singing. Finally, I shifted towards acting.'
Finally, Sanchari Vijay’s ambition got fulfilled with Riktha.
