Lenin Rajendran, the popular Mollywood director, breathed his last today at Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. Lenin Rajendran had liver transplantation recently and had been hospitalized for a couple of months. Lenin made his debut as a director in 1982 with the film, Venal. His last release is “Edavappathy,” which released in 2016. He had won the best director award a couple of times for the films
Rathri Mazha and Makara Manju.
Before his debut as a director, he had been assisting the popular director PA Backer. Lenin Rajendran has been in the communist party. He is survived with his wife, a son and a daughter. Celebs including the Kerala CM,
