Actor Atharvaa, had faced some financial hiccups during the release of his Semma Botha Aagathey and it resulted in Mathiyazhagan of Etcetra Entertainments coming forth to help him out to release the film. The first two shows had not been played and this created around 5 crores of loss to Mathiyazhagan. Due to this, Atharvaa had promised him that he would do a film within the 5 crore budget for free and the issue was sorted.
However, when ARK Saravanan of Maragadha Naanayam fame approached Mathiyazhagan and in turn the script going over to Atharvaa, they had decided that they would do some other project instead of this and Vishal of TFPC had guided them through this stage.
