,” the popular South Indian actress campaigned for the DMK alliance. She campaigned for the Marxist Communist candidate Venkatesan. Rohini visited Chinnakadai Street, Pandiya Vellalar Street, Panthadi, Mahal 6th Street, Therkuvasal and its surroundings that are under Madurai central constituency. She stated that Venkatesan is a good writer and a social enthusiast. He knows well the needs of Madurai and he will strive hard to get back Madurai’s water resources, said Rohini.
In Rohini’s meeting, DMK and the alliance party organizers took part and campaigned along with Rohini. The Lok Sabha Polls and the assembly by-polls will be conducted on 18th April 2019. The first phase of the polls starts on 11th April. The results will be announced in May 2019.
