C. Rajendran, the president of the Namakkal Drama Artists Association has filed a suit against actor Vadivelu, before the magistrate, yesterday. In the petition, Rajendran has stated that Vadivelu’s controversial speech hurts everyone. In an interview in Madurai, Vadivelu has said, “The Nadigar Sangam has vanished and we have to search it after we win the elections.” Rajendran says that, being a member of the Sangam, Vadivelu should not have spoken as such. As per the petition, the Magistrate has issued the summons to Vadivelu and he has to appear in the court on 20th November. Nadigar Sangam poorly struck between the hands of two teams!
