Anushka is the Number One heroine in Tamil film industry. Also, she receives remuneration that amounts to crores. Initially, Anushka tried doing Hindi movies. She participated in the audition for Hindi movies. The audition is conducted to know whether the actress has a photogenic face, and whether the actress knows acting well. The audition for Anushka was also held.
She was asked to perform in a romantic scene. The scene was captured in a video. But, Anushka was not selected in the audition. Now, the rare video is making rounds. Anushka has posted it in Facebook. Although Anushka failed in the first audition, she later decided to do South Indian movies.
Anushka debuted in Telugu movie Super in which she paired up with Nagarjuna. The movie hit the screens in 2005. Slowly, she gained a firm foothold in the film industry.
