Legislative Assembly elections were held recently in five states and the voting count was completed on Saturday. In Goa Congress party made a lead with 17 seats and BJP got 13 seats. It is a rule that the leading party should be called to form the government. But, BJP, which is 4 seats away from Congress, was invited to form the government and BJP announced that the defense minister, Manohar Parikkar will be the CM of the state. Now, Congress filed a case on the Supreme Court, stating that the as they are the leading party, they should be invited to form the government. It is heard that a special bench will be appointed to handle this case on the Top Court. The case will come to the hearing tomorrow, informs the Chief Justice.
