DMK – Congress alliance has allotted a seat to Kongu Makkal Desam. The contestant is Eswaran, the leader of Kongu Makkal Desam party and he will be contesting under the DMK symbol, Rising Sun. DMK had allotted ten seats to its big alliance Congress. In the opposite tent, ADMK had allotted seven seats to Paatali Makkal Katchi and five seats to Bharatiya Janata Party.
