To honor the legendary musician, the Tamil Film Producers Council has organized an event Ilaiyaraaja 75. The event will be held on 2nd and 3rd of February 2019. A case had been filed against the event by some producers, stating that there is no transparency in the event. Following this, the Madras High court ordered TFPC to reply in this regard.
