Even after a hard struggle, the doctors could not help him survive, as his body didn’t recuperate to the medicines. But, the doctors found out that he was poisoned. It was said that he was given Methyl alcohol, which was used in pesticides. The post mortem report revealed that Mani had liver cirrhosis, jaundice, kidney dysfunction and diabetics.

, the TV star, who was Mani’s close friend, was also suspected in Mani’s death. In July 2016, it was confirmed that Mani’s death was not natural. When his family requested a CBI inquiry, the state didn’t do. Now, the court has ordered a CBI inquiry in Kalabhavan Mani’s death case. Mani’s family, friends and fans are expecting the CBI to find and punish the person, who killed Mani.
