Torrential rain and flood have affected the normal life in Chennai and Cuddalore. Though the losses are substantial, the rescue operation is at a quick pace. Central and State governments and the volunteers are doing the rescue operations very well, to restore Chennai and Cuddalore. Donations are flowing from all the sides, especially from the Film Industry. Recently, Kalpathi AGS group has donated a massive amount of Rs. 50 Lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund. This is the highest donation from Kollywood based organization. 'Shah Rukh Khan’s Rs. 1 Crore donation is the largest amount received by the CMPRF, till date. Apart from donating the enormous fund, the AGS group joins with a charitable institution called, Reachout and serves various communities. They help the people with education and create Self-employment opportunities. Well done AGS Group!
