.” The movie directed by Shanmugam Muthuswamy has “G V Prakash Kumar" and R Sarath Kumar in the lead roles. Shanmugam Muthuswamy says that after scripting the film, he thought to engage “Vijayashanti” in the role. As Vijayashanti had been concentrating on politics, she was not available. Only after Vijayashanti could not do the role, Shanmugam decided to cast Mandira. When Shanmugam approached Mandira for the role, she didn't accept it. Initially, Mandira told him that she will not fit to do the southern films. However, after reading the script by Shanmugam, she was much convinced. Mandira also showed a lot of interest to dub her voice, said the director. She has also compromised her remuneration to some extent, said Shanmugam.
