From the upcoming academic year, Games will be treated as a subject and the marks obtained in games will be added to the progress of the students. Like any other subjects, sports should also be given importance. This new rule might bring a great change in our education system, says the Secretary of Sports Department. We also hope that this might bring a significant change in the education system and the people who are interested in sports might get a good appreciation from their schools and the staffs. Although there is a games period in the schedule, most of the staffs use the period as a spare period and the students are dumped with their subjects. As the new rule is imposed, it would avoid such situation and the students will get a chance to showcase their talents.
