Press Note From Abirami Theaters!

Abirami Theaters released a Press Note and here you go: Abirami theatre and Bala Abirami theatre were built in 1976 under the vision of Vallal Sri VS Shiva Lingam Chettiyar, father of Sri Abirami Ramanathan. Later in 1982 seeing the success of these two theatres to more theaters were built in the name of Annai Abirami and Sakthi Abirami when cinema was going down Sri Abirami Ramanathan and Shrimati Nallammai Ramanathan brought in the concept of Mall first of its kind in Tamilnadu in 2002. Further in 2005, the theatres were remodeled with maximum comfort under the name and style of Abirami 7 star, Robot Bala Abirami, Sri Annai Abirami and Swarna Sakthi Abirami theatres. Now considering that due to the invasion of digital media thousand capacity seat Theaters are not viable anymore. Hence it has been decided to close operations of Abirami Mega Mall and theatres on and from 1st February 2019 and rebuild Abirami Mega Mall and will start operations within 24 months. The new building is once again Abirami Mega Mall and will have ground plus two floors as commercial and will include Food Court, shopping and around 8 to 10 cinema theatres plus 14 floors of residential Apartments. The peculiarity of these apartments are no apartment will have a common wall with other apartment. Every Apartment is an independent unit. The theatres will be totally Ultra-modern with out of the world comfort and projector less screens. More than everything we will be maintaining this building as a vegetarian building. To increase the comfort level vegetarians who will occupy the building. The whole concept is that whoever is residing in this Apartments A to Z everything will be available in the commercial floor. They need not go out for anything including Cinemas. The responsibility of getting the approvals and constructing the whole project is vested with M/S Rainbow Foundations Limited. They will also be the selling partners. The architect is Mr Meyyappan and the structural engineers are from Singapore who have done structural for many buildings in Dubai.
