Remya started her career as a child artist in 2000 in “Sayahnam.” Before playing the heroine, Remya played in supporting roles too. Remya made her Tamil debut in 2005 with Oru Naal Oru Kanavu in a sister role. She made her debut as a heroine in 2006. Remya had always given importance to performance oriented roles and a lot of her films garnered appreciation.
