. The film was supposed to hit the screens on 28th July. But, the distributor Malaysia Pandian filed a case against the producer Ravindar for cheating him. Malaysia Pandian agreed to get the overseas rights of the film for Rs. 18, 00, 000 and paid the advance of Rs. 8, 00, 000. Besides this, the producer had told Pandian that if he gives an additional Rs. 2, 00, 000, he would provide him with the satellite rights too. But, Pandian gave him Rs. 11, 00, 000. Besides this, he had given Rs. 7, 20, 000 for expenses. The producer agreed to return the extra amount in April 2018, but, he didn’t. When he gave a cheque, it bounced back. So, Pandian filed a case in the court to ban the film until he gets his money from the producer and also complained about this to
