Singer T. M. Krishna hails from Tamil Nadu. He is a popular Carnatic music singer. He has received the Indira Gandrhi award for the year of 2015 – 2016. It is to be noted that the singer hails from Tamil Nadu. He is aged 41. He has received the Indira Gandhi Award. The selection committee presided by Mothilal Wohra, made the announcement in Delhi recently. T M Krishna received the training in music from P Seetharama Sharma. Also, he received training from Chengalput Renganathan. Also, he has received training in music from Chemmangudi Srinivasa Iyer for about seven years.
Krishna is not alone a singer but teaches the music and imparts the knowledge to students. He participates in singing programs across the globe and delivers his talent. Also, he makes speeches on music. The Indira Gandhi Award involves a certificate and a prize amount of Rs 10 lakhs. It is to be noted that T M Krishna has received the Magsaysay award. There are many singers in the Tamil industry. But T M Krishna occupies a unique place among them. He has won a number of awards to his credit.
