” runs a party Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam. As he didn’t register his party yet, the Supreme Court announced that he would not be allotted any symbols. Dhinakaran filed the Cooker symbol case, while the Twinleaf symbol case was also in the court. The Delhi High court announced its verdict that the Twinleaf symbol allotted to ADMK is right. Dhinakaran stated that if his party didn’t get any symbol, all his people would be contesting as independent candidates.
It is heard that if a party is registered and it applies for a symbol, then it will take 30 days to give the symbol. So, even though AMMK gets registered today, they couldn’t get the symbol before the election. Election Commission announced that all the AMMK contestants would be considered as the independent candidates!
