, the Thala of Kollywood mentored the MIT students in designing the Daksha drone. In the competition held between 111 colleges, the Daksha drone by the MIT Students grabbed the first place and created a world record. The unmanned vehicle could carry a load of 10 kilos and it flew for 6 hours continuously and created a world record. The winning team gets Rs. 1 lakh and the two runners get Rs. 50 thousand and Rs. 25 thousand respectively.
