She is fluent in multiple languages. After her father’s death, her mother took Madam Jayalalithaa and her brother Jayakumar to Madras. Jayalalithaa was very good in academics as well as the extracurricular. She was a trained piano player, Carnatic singer, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Kathak and Manipuri dancer.
