, the daughter of veteran actor Mohan Ram, has been enjoying her career as a talented young comedienne in Tamil cinema. After Kovai Sarala, there are no comedy actresses to impress the audiences. Vidyu is trying to fill the space. At present, Vidyu is holidaying in Europe. She is staying with her friends in a hotel in Vienna. While she was standing in the lobby, a man distracted her attention and grabbed her bag which contains her passport, money and other important things. The distressed star informed the PMO and the Minister of External Affairs, Ms Sushma Swaraj. She sought help from the Minister through her continuous tweets. Her tweets are as follows:
"@SushmaSwaraj My bag has been stolen with passport, cards & currency in my hotel lobby. Need to contact the Indian embassy asap in Vienna".
"Devastating to have had a fab trip with friends and it ends on a sour note with all money, passport and valuables lost. Fate I guess".
"He asked me how to get to an address and by the time I said I don't know..His friend came from behind & took it. Shocked. Hope embassy helps"
