Veteran Actress Sachu was denied a vote, for not bringing her membership identity card. Worried Sachu said, "Because I have been denied a vote, it doesn't mean I am not an actress. I have been acting since MGR period. I have renewed my membership until 2017 by paying Rs 5, 000 in 2007. I am being denied the right to vote, now. What is the reason?" Senior actress Ambika says, "I am worried that the artists from other states without the ID cards are not allowed to vote. This problem should be resolved, soon.” As far as now, there are nearly 900 votes, being polled. The Association has 3000+ members
