Cheran’s Allegations On Sharwa!

“Cheran,” the Tamil director, who is popular for his social message movies, has thrown allegations against “Sharwanand.” He directed Sharwa in “JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai.” The film didn’t release in theatres but in original DVDs by Cheran. Recently, the film was released in Telugu as “Rajadhi Raja.” However, it didn’t go well in Tollywood, as it was not publicized well. Cheran, the director, complains that Sharwa didn’t co-operate to promote the film. He had written a complaint note on this issue. It states, "I was hurt after I came to know that Sharwanand and producer Sravanthi Ravikishore were creating some negative waves on the film. I had roped Sharwa when he didn't have hits. I agreed to pay him Rs 1 Crore as his salary and paid Rs 55 Lakh. I have to pay him another Rs 45 Lakh. Sharwa didn’t attend the promotional events of Rajadhi Raja. He didn't even attend the audio launch. I know that Sharwanand is a wonderful actor. But such acts of him diminish his value. Initially, Sravanthi Ravikishore was the producer of the film. He interfered with my job. He told me that he would alter the film's trailer but I didn't agree as it was my duty. Hence he walked out from the production. So, the film was shelved for a year. After facing a lot of hurdles, I managed to complete the film. Venkatesh, the Telugu producer came forward to watch the movie and purchased it. Although I requested him for promoting the film, Sharwa didn't respond. I had sent him 25 text messages and he hadn't replied to anyone of them. I have never told him that I won't pay the remaining fee. But he had stated that he doesn’t have any connection with the film. I felt very bad that a good film wasn't promoted well. Producer Venkatesh had faced severe difficulties in releasing the film. When I approached the heroine to promote the movie, she replied that she would come if the hero attends the promotional event. Did the producer cast her or the Hero? When I had a great trouble in my personal life with my daughter, Sharwa had helped her to come out from it. I had always treated him as my younger brother. But today, Sharwa has changed a lot. I am not complaining against Sharwa and Ravikishore in the matter. Rajadhi Raja is a good movie. Few Tollywood heroes and directors called me and appreciated the movie. Without a great publicity, we did a good job. If the hero and heroine had cooperated, we would have tasted bigger success."
