The Tollywood industry had been shut since the lockdown is announced in March. A couple of days back, the Tamil industry is said to have got the permission to resume the post-production works, but with certain restrictions. Even the Tamil TV Serial shootings had been permitted with some limitations. Now, the Telugu producers want to resume the post-production works. Some producers have an idea in screening the films directly on the OTT, as it is not wise to screen it in theaters in the current situation. As the funds are locked, the small budget producers are suffering a lot.
The producers are waiting for the government to give permission to the PP works and they won’t pressurize the government to reopen the theaters! Stay tuned with us for the latest updates!
