Plot

During World War I, 1600 British soldiers who belong to two battalions were trapped by Germans. To get out of the trap is highly impossible. But, to save them, two British soldiers, Schofield and Blake are assigned. What is their plan and how did they cross the territory of their enemies? Did they succeed? Watch the movie to know the rest.

Star Performance

Dean Charles Chapman and George Mackay are brilliant with their performances. Andrew Scott, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colin Firth and Richard Madden had also put a considerable effort and had given some good performances.

Analysis

The script is sensational and the execution is absolutely fantastic. The stars have given out a laudable performance. The cinematography and editing are highly appreciable. A huge variety of aerial shots, which we have not witnessed so far, impress our eyes. Similarly, the background score is excellent. The movie is technically sound and all the credit goes to Sam Mendes, who had planned everything properly and executed with fineness.
