Plot

Marie Colvin is an American journalist, who worked as a foreign affairs correspondent. She brought a lot of information from the war zone and revealed how the humans suffer. She sacrificed her life to become the leading war correspondent. Although she had been successful in her career, she was not successful in maintaining the relationships. Star Performance

None of the stars made us feel that this is a drama and had played very naturally. Rosamund Pike did a beautiful job as Marie. Stanley Tucci and Tom Hollander had performed neatly. Special mention to Jamie Dornan and Faye Marsay too.

Analysis

The director has made the biographical drama a classy one. The casting team should be appreciated first for bringing the seasoned actors on board. All the stars fit in the role perfectly. The screenplay and the dialogues are neat. After watching this biography, we will feel much for her and in fact, Marie Colvin gets a special place in our hearts. The production values are good. The soft music by Scott Salinas gels well with the script. The cinematography by Richardson is awesome. Different backdrops with different shades impress.
