The movie is based on a book by writer Ayn Rand Ayn Rand was born on February 2, 1905, in Russia. >> Read More... released in 1957.The movie’s director is Paul Johannson, and the plot has been designed by John Aglialoro and Brain Patrick O’Toole. The plot proves to be a political satire. Taylor Schilling does the role of Dagny Taggart, and Grant Bowler does the role of Henry Rearden in the movie.

Plot: Dagny Taggart is in charge of a railroad company in the US. She is erudite, dauntless and has the integrity. Suddenly people around her start disappearing. She loses some of the very talented and committed workers. Rearden is sure that creativeness could wipe out disorder in the society. He happens to be a man who shares ideologies with Dagny. They create new American Renaissance by restructuring the railroad. Graham Beckel does the role of Ellis Wyatt, an oil company owner. Dagny and Rearden redeem faith when they discover that static electricity could be used to run motors. But, the motor is found in a ditched factory. Somehow, it proves a dangerous theory that the creative and erudite are fast disappearing from the limelight of humanity.

Due to the cheap budget, scenes are mostly in the interiors. But, the movie proves boring, and there are scenes repeating in cubicles of offices. And, also, there is a lot of gossip in parties. The actors keep rambling about the Government, and the government’s irritating care about excessive safety. Also, there is a mention about a messenger for capitalism. He happens to be in the darker side of the society and compels the intelligent superiors in the industry to go to a hideout.

Verdict: The movie Atlas Shrugged is somewhat boring to watch, and the audiences find it hard to come to terms with the movie.
