CAST & CREW
Here is the PLOT of this movie as far as we could analyze. Keep watching this space for latest updates.
The delightfully diabolic villain from 101 Dalmatians and the inspiration for many in her line of succession, Cruella De Vil, is all set to make our blood run cold all over again in her very own live-action Disney film, lucidly named 'Cruella’. This latest addition to the world's second largest media enterprise (regarding revenue), will surely add a new feather to their cap of success in changing tides to live action films from their classics with 'Cinderella’, Beauty and the Beast (2017), and 'Maleficent’, to name a few. Faring away from simply meta-phrasing their classics, as in the case of Cinderella, this revamped storyline strays from the original tale and speculatively provides reasons for Cruella’s obsessiveness with the spotted bunch as the plot explores her in her early days, and reveals a possible traumatic event that explains her iconic antagonistic qualities.
Emma Stone, reportedly the ideal lead for this film, hones the evil troublesome lady's character, who yearns to adorn herself with more than a hundred Dalmatians. Although the released date isn't issued yet, the script is already being finalized and is co-written by Kelly Marcel, who also penned the Fifty Shades of Grey movie adaptation, and the Walt Disney oriented megahit, Saving Mr. Banks. With Emma Stone filling in a well-fitting pair of super-villain heels, in addition to a writer who is no less than a magician when it comes to bringing out psychopathic traits (cue Mr. Gray) in her characters, this flick surely promises to actualize all our obsessive-swank-puppy-killer fantasies.
