Plot: The movie revolves around a Former Dentist, Dr. King Shultz (Waltz), who buys a slave, Django (Jamie Foxx) and prepares him up with an intention of making him his Bounty Hunter. In return of collecting large bounties on three fugitives, he promises to help Django to reunite him with his long departed wife (Kerry Washington), who was abducted by a barbaric plantation holder (DiCaprio). His wife was a slave girl Broomhilda Van Shaft, serving as a slave to a German Mistress and later on traded to U.S.

The movie did well to attain a rating of 8.5/10, grossing over $162,804,648 in U.S.A alone. The part played by Christoph Waltz was appreciated well, being full of Brilliant acting skills and comedic delivery. However the movie is the blend of episodic portions and the scenes which are just added on for the part of fun. The confounding runtime of 165 minutes just flies by the time.

The movie depicts how successfully a director can show all the blood and slaughter on the screen while numbing the effect of the same, simultaneously. Conversely, the movie lacks the charm as any of the other Tarantino’s work until now. If we talk about acting skills, Tarantino piles the appreciation with a plenty of distinguishable characters. Kerry Washington got ahead well with the role of Broomhilda Van Shaft, playing the role of helpless lass, though she wasn’t held back from showing her acting dexterity with her facial expressions. Waltz and DiCaprio did justice to their underwritten characters.
