Some aspects of the movie are stupid for example the couple did not do any research about the house before buying it which seems silly, and a normal couple would never be so forgetful and ignorant. The film makes a transition from the bulky haunted – house flick to a psychological mystery, a thriller with no thrill. And an only real mystery is why in the first place some A- rated actors and directors Jim Sheridan’s caliber would even consider working on such irrelevant project.
Verdict:Â One can afford to watch it just once.
