The screenplay for the movie was developed by Alan R Cohen, Adam and Alan Freedland. Zach Galifianakis does the role of Ethan Tremblay in the movie.

Plot: In another five days, Peter Highman is going to be the father of his child. He plans to be there by his wife's side during the delivery in Atlanta Hospital. But, he happens to come across Ethan Tremblay, who throws his plans out of gear. Now, there is a test to Peter’s mental balance as he has to cross the border with Ethan carrying a dog.

The movie has a well-knit screenplay and could be termed as a better version of Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. But, the movie has taken inspiration just from the general concept of the other movie. You can stand most of the jokes in the movie except for one or two intolerable ones. Actor Downey Jr. is an outstanding actor. There is an attraction about his humor, and he can send guffaws across the theater with merely a movement of a limb. Galifianakis is the type of actor who does the annoying role so well so that you feel like pelting stones on the screen. The character played by him frequently annoys Peter and drives him to madness. There are some emotional scenes in the movie that cause unrest among the audiences. The sentiments seem to be thrust and bizarre, but it is just a minor flaw. Towards the end, the movie seems to be a tongue in cheek humor.

Verdict: The movie is worth watching for the actors in it.
