Plot

In the film Glass, David Dunn, also known as Overseer, with his son Joseph went against the Beast. Beast is a superhuman personality of the Horde, which he admires. He helps the cheerleaders captured by the Beast. In this whole process of fighting, both Horde and David are captured by Dr. Ellie Staple. She makes them believe that superhero is not real and they all are normal human beings. Horde and David are placed in a Raven Hill Memorial. Elijah Price, also known as Mr. Glass, was here. David previously fought against him ten years ago. What will happen to them? Why is Dr. Ellie taking care of them? What is her plan? Do superheroes are not accurate? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb was an incredible performance in the film. He did a great job of showing the multiple personality. It is like him playing many roles. It is a challenging role, but he was fantastic in his position. Bruce Willis, as David Dunn, did a tremendous performance in the movie. He shows the superhero who knows his strength and uses it for others' welfare. His determination and selflessness to do anything for people were fantastic. Samuel L. Jackson, as Elijah Price or also known as Mr. Glass, was the perfect antagonist. A brilliant villain who knows how to manipulate people. He brilliantly played his role. Sarah Paulson, as Dr. Ellie Staple, did an incredible job. From the start of people to the end, the audience will be shocked by the acting. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

It is a great superhero movie. The storyline in the film is terrific. The character design and development are impressive. But it disappoints as it doesn’t have much impact as previous sequels. The background music and sound were effectively worked with scenes. The action scenes are well choreographed. There are great twists and turns. The location was perfect for the film. The dialogues are well structured and framed. It portrayed how superpowers do exist.  It shows how people deal with their existential crises and how some parts of our society consider others abnormal. It shows how we can use powers for welfare and destruction. The description of how some people can be heroes or villains was perfectly framed in the film.

What’s There?

  • The film uses the thriller concept significantly.
  • The concept of the superhero was framed well in the film.
  • The film did not go beyond the theme.
  • The dialogues are well framed in the film.

What’s Not There?

  • The storyline of the film was not as good as previous sequels.

Verdict

It is an excellent film that enjoys superhero-themed movies. The storyline and the casting were perfect. The film is an excellent choice to watch if you love superhero films, but it might disappoint in the ending as compared to previous sequels.
