The director Steven R. Monroe has made a brand new remake of the pseudo-classic rape-revenge thriller of ‘I spit on your grave-1978’, in a decent and convincing way through this movie.

Plot

Jennifer Hills (Camille Keaton), who is a writer, goes on a retreat renting an amiable cabin in the woods of Mockingbird trial to work peacefully for two months on her next novel. Her occupancy engages the consideration of a few dirty-minded natives.The gang of five local men decides to implant a lesson to this city girl and hence two days later, they break into her cabin and brutally rape her. Believing her to be dead, the men gradually stopped looking for her body and goes back to their normal routine. But Jennifer Hills survives her life despite the horrible calamity. She decides to revenge them and asks God for forgiveness.

Analysis

Jennifer’s ordeal is convincing enough, but nothing about her revenge is adequately explained or even remotely plausible. Once in a while, they do it with imagination and fantasy, yet this well-crafted example just adds creative atrocities on top of actual ones, and then half-heartedly claims that it means something. "I Spit On Your Grave" has a heavily good carried outlook and style to the movie, but it eventually drops out under the script's faulty foundations. There are quite a few aspects to improve on from the original.
