The flick MacGruber hit the screens in 2010. The movie is an American flick that is intertwined with action and comedy. The movie earned a little less than the budget put into it. The movie is considered a sort of cult classic. MacGruber is the American hero who had earned many prestigious ranks in the military. Also, he had won some medals to his credit. Luck had come his way, and he progressed in the career. Later he resigned from the job of doing service to the nation.
Actor Will Forte has done the role of MacGruber in the movie. Kristen Wiig, the actress, has done the role of his lover. The other cast includes

as the deceased wife, and Val Kilmer does the movie villain.
Plot: The plot opens up showing a bereaved MacGruber. His wife had died ten years back. For over a decade, MacGruber has stayed away from fighting crime and injustice. His arch rival Dieter Von Cunth has stolen a nuke. The country needs MacGruber to be back to his old ways. MacGruber makes out that only he can handle the case. MacGruber forms a team of special operatives and fights the villain Von Cunth as he perpetrates crime in the nation. The movie has a romance between actor Will Forte and Kristen Wiig. The movie is childish in its approach and seems very stereotyped. MacGruber reminds the audiences of the decade of the 80's. MacGruber is not better in quality than the usual satires. The humor in the movie adds to the embarrassment in the movie. Actor Forte has made a pathetic performance and cuts a very sorry figure in the movie. He resembles an action hero in a previous American flick. There is less possibility that Forte will make any onscreen appearance soon.
Verdict: The movie is not worth watching for those who want a good weekend entertainment.
