The movie ‘Mars needs Moms’ is a 3D animation, and is a comedy with thrilling adventures packed in it. The screenplay is by Simon Wells, and the movie is based on a novel.

The movie did not perform well in the box-office. The movie collection was less than the investment put into it.

A nine-year-old body Milo (dubbing by Seth Green) has a lot of preoccupations. He watches movies with demons and monsters in it, and he has plenty of fun. He has no time for household chores and homework. Neither does he spare to time to bite on his vegetables.

Milo is irritated that his mother is asking him to do all these, and his mom is exasperated out of nagging Milo to obey her. Milo tells his mother that he would enjoy his life more if she weren’t besides him. As a sudden twist people from the planet of Mars kidnap Milo’s Mom. Milo clings to the ship with Martians in it. He is keenly bent on rescuing his mom from the dreaded Martians. A couple of people assist Milo on his mission. Gribble, done by , Milo’s Pet Two- Cat and Martian rebel Ki help Milo reunite with his mother.

The people on Mars sprout from the ground once in every five years. There is a method which helps keep the males away from the females. It is an automated one used by the Martians. The males are treated just as junks, and lead a very underdeveloped life. The women are taken into custody by grandma robots. Mothers from the Earth are used to program the Martian grandma robots such that they learn about maternal care. But transplantation of the memory of mothers from the Earth will make the Earth Mothers die. society lacks the warmth and affection typical of a mother.

The superiors in Mars made such changes to society to dismount the burden of rearing a child. Earlier, the Martians had placed the mothers of Earth under scrutiny. Milo’s mother had caught their attention as she was known for her motherliness. Appearances in the movie have been designed well. But there is no soul to the film. The movie ‘Mars needs Moms’ has received negative reviews only.
