Plot

The TV series “One Dollar” has been set in a small town in the Rust Belt. The story is about a one-dollar bill and how it binds together a group of individuals, as the bill falls into the hands of different individuals it becomes a way of uncovering hidden truths, and much more hate and crime. The series revolves around that one-dollar bill and serves as the town’s secret with a lot of thrill and adventure.

Star Performance

The lead role actor Nathaniel Martello-White, Philip Ettinger, and the other cast gave a good performance and captivated the audience.

Analysis

"One Dollar" is a mystery, drama, and thriller genre TV series. And this series successfully captivates the audience with its cleverly written crime drama story. Though the series has some pretty good suspenseful sequences, it sometimes fails to excite the audience as it becomes predictable. But the catch here is that the overall way of narration and the clever writing makes it worth watching.

Now talking about the acting department of the series, the series did a pretty good job in that area, and casting Nathaniel Martello-White was a great decision, and along with him, the other cast also did a pretty good job in portraying their characters and in making the characters come to life as the audience feels connected to it.

Now talking about the film's music then, it is off at some point, and sometimes it blends with the shot and sequence so well that nothing could have given a better experience. If the music would have been better, then the overall experience of the series would have been much better for the audience.

Now talking about the cinematography of the film then, Darran Tiernan and Terry Stacy did a pretty good job of capturing all the actors and the key shots that were important for the series to maintain the suspense element and also the running shots of the series were amazing.

What’s There?

• Interesting storyline that manages to captivate the audience throughout the episodes.

• The acting department of the series is a major plus.

• The cinematography of the film is a major plus for the film.

• The interconnected plots in the series go in favour of the series and keep the audience interested in solving mysteries.

What’s Not There?

• The music of the series is a negative point and the majority of the time it feels out of sync.

• Occasionally the plot twist the series tries to provide does not work and becomes predictable.

Verdict

For an audience that is big on crime-drama, mystery, and thriller genres and loves to solve mysteries with their fast and clever brain, this series is worth watching only the things to be considered that the music of the series is not that great.
