Operation Chromite is a superb movie with mind-blowing effects of war. The story is the role model of real wars which took place in the olden days. There was an excellent creative idea overall. The ultimate mission is to win the battle by placing a small trap so that the enemy gets diverted to it. By the time enemy gets to know, the actual operation is done.

Plot:

Liam Nesson who plays the role of American General sends eight members of Korean Liaison office for a secret mission named, “X-ray.” This operation must succeed so that American General can launch the daring Incheon Landing Operation. Operation Chromite was done by great intelligence because to complete that operation, they launched “X-ray.”

Analysis:

This movie deals with a secret mission. South Korean territories got captured by North in the year 1950. So, the American general along with UN Coalition hits the enemy with the big Operation called Chromite. The film has Great War, and it has a lot of action. Operation Chromite is an incursion force of 75,000 UN troops.

The mission directives given by General MacArthur are:

1. To Search enemy forces in Incheon and mine chart should be secured.

2. Ryu Jang-Choon, the 2nd highest ranked officer in the North Korean command center, should be kidnapped to occupy naval mine location.

3. On D-Day, they should light the Palmido lighthouse because it is a soft signal to the UN forces. General MacArthur initiates the battle when the lighthouse glows up. The credit for the Music goes to Lee Dong-Joon. The Editor for this film is Steve M Choi.

What’s there?

This movie is with full of tricks and traps.
We discover this spy and war film as one of the Liam Neeson's work.
There were lots of twists and action in this story.
There were special visual effects.

What’s not there?

There was no seriousness in the film.
The war drama gets turn into different directions and creates just a thrill for some time.

Liam Nesson, Jung-Jae Lee, Beom Lee is the star performances which showed their great zeal towards the success of this movie.

Verdict:

This film was based on real wars, and it shows how the armed force faces problems and how they have performed a mission. The climax highlights the movie. So it’s worthy to try this story.
