Plus: This film is definitely an ode to the 80s, with all its sci-fi entertainment. The people in their teens during the 80s will surely enjoy the film. Pixel is loaded with special effects and they leave a mark. The best part of the movie is the action scenes but one wonders why they are in 3d effect. Chris Colombus, who has helmed direction for first 2 Horry Potter ventures and Home Alone, is quite ok with his direction... Peter Dinklage’s work is quite ok.
