’ is a tale of young-love and the fight to live. Enoch, portrayed by Henry, has intuitions of befriending a spirit of a Kamikaze pilot. He then does quite a number of eccentric things. The most striking aspect is that he attends the funeral of a completely strange and unknown person. In one such event, he meets a dying and cancer infected girl called Annabel. Annabel has just three-months to live and there seems to be the beginning of a romantic relationship between the two of them. On the other hand, Enoch is overcome with grief over the thought of separation between the two. He too seems to have his own share of problems. As the relationship between the two matures, there is a cut to reality and Enoch is seen at Annabel’s funeral. He resolves to get over the grief by rewinding his happier memories with Annabel.
Verdict:
This British-American Drama would definitely be a crazy watch among the teens. However, the real question of a greater reach to a wider audience is still unanswered. The movie was indeed appreciated for the stellar performance displayed by Mia, as she had ample scope to display her potential. This movie may be of interest to those who have a craving for drama and emotional quotient. Otherwise, not a very engaging watch.
