Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is a space movie written by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. Tony Gilroy and Chris Weitz scripted the film and Gareth Edwards directed it. This is a standalone film in the Star Wars series. Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker are in the cast. Michael Giacchino composed the music. Lucas Films produced the film and Walt Disney Motion Pictures distributed it.

Plot:

Death Star is a space station designed to destroy a planet with superweapons. Galen Erso is a research scientist, who is hiding on a new planet. Orson Krennic, an Imperial weapon developer, asks him to complete the Death Star. Galen’s wife Lyra was killed in this argument but their daughter Jyn escapes. She is cared by Saw Gerrera. After fifteen years, the same story continues with Jyn. Did the crew destroy any planet with their innovation? Did anyone lose their life in the mission? What happened to Jyn? Watch the film to know the answers to these questions.

Star Performance:

Felicity Jones plays Jyn Erso and Diego Luna plays Cassian Andor. Mads Mikkelsen plays scientist Galen Erso. When comparing the performances none is lesser in showcasing their talents.

Analysis:

Gareth Edwards has taken this action, adventure, science fiction and the fantasy drama in his hand to give the best to the adventure lovers. He has told the Star Wars series in a different tone.

This film gives the Star Wars lovers, a different experience. But, people who guess that the film is a prequel trilogy, then they would be disappointed. Overall, this is a watch worthy film for fantasy and fiction lovers.
