. A ghost face killer had been on a killing spree in Woodsboro and Sidney plans to write a book on what happened. As she develops contact with her old mates as Gale Weathers and Sheriff Dewey, there is danger around the corner. The danger comes in the form of the Ghostkiller, who makes a comeback knowing about Sidney’s presence in the town.
The movie bears a close resemblance to the movie ‘The Phantom Menace’, and it is probably the final in the serious of movies ‘Scream’. There is one similarity between two of these movies. The flicks have been made by veteran filmmakers who are not up to date with the fans. Maybe, the makers believed that audiences wanted something back through decades. Due to that, the movie has lost weight and ability to impress. The movie has some twists in it, and once those twists are revealed, the audiences lose interest in the movie. The first time the movie is watched, it might prove entertaining. But, there is nothing about the movie, except that it has taken contents from the previous one in the series. The music seems to get into the nerves of the audiences. The dialogues are drawing and make the audiences snore.
The movie makers might have thought that they are making a smart movie deriding previous horror flicks. But, that does not please the audience. There were lots of problems with the production of the movie, and the writer Kevin Williamson and Weinstein were not in good terms. Even if everything had progressed without hindrance, the movie’s quality would not have improved.
Verdict: The movie does not interest the audience as expected.
