Plot

A group of college students unintentionally sets free an evil curse after reading a treacherous deck of tarot cards. The entity trapped in the cards creates extensive destruction. Will they overcome the deadly prophecies? The remainder of the story deals with this.

Star performance

The cast includes Harriet Slater, Jacob Batalon, Avantika Vandanapu, Adain Bradley, Humberly Gonzalez, Wolfgang Novogratz, Larsen Thompson, and Olwen Fouere. They have tried their best to perform well but have to offer little more. The performance of the cast did not meet the expectations.

Analysis

The directors Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg have put in efforts to bring the movie to heights. The narration rushes without creating any thrill or backstory of the character. The movie is based on the novel Horoscope. The script is weak and the screenplay prevents the narration from being impactful. The cinematography is done well giving a gothic experience. The editing is also done decently. Even though it is a horror movie there are only odd-jump scares and spooky scenes. The story is predictable.
