Plot: Burt Wonderstone with his friend and partner Anton is a very famous magician. But with time we see nothing that he kept close to his heart stays with him for long be it his friendship with Anton or his fame. He has to compete with another amazing magician named Steve Gray, who is known to play some very outrageous tricks. In order to remain in the game of magic and stabilize his popularity, he has to get back his friendship and fathom the reason that led him to love magic in the first place.
What you may like:
1. This movie successfully echoes the tradition of stage shows that have magicians playing logic-defying and outrageous tricks.

What you may dislike:
1.It is rather disappointing to have a plot that is funny but irrelevant and out of context, making it test our patience in the process.
2. The fact that the plot of this movie can be predicted gives it another negative point to its account.
3. The whole movie is based on Carell and Buscemi’s chemistry which should ideally come naturally, but it becomes very sad to see that the chemistry fails to impress its audience.
4. It may be a very tedious job to watch the whole movie without losing your patience.
Verdict: A one time watch for all Jim Carrey fans and those who want to reminisce the tradition of magic shows.
