Plot

Jonas Taylor is the rescue diver, who is in an attempt to save a team of scientists who got stuck in a nuclear submarine. While saving the final survivor in the submarine, Jonas finds out that the submarine has been damaged by some creature. After coming back to his rescue vehicle, he finds out that two of his crew members got stuck in the wrecked submarine. So, Jonas Taylor has to leave the vehicle to save those two. While he starts to the submarine, it gets exploded. After 5 years, the research team started researching under the water. It is found out that it is Megalodon that causes damages to the people who were researching. What happens next? Did Jonas Taylor get any idea to destroy the Meg? Watch the film in theatres!

Star Performance

Jason Statham performed perfectly as the rescue diver. Li Bingbing and the others have also done justice to their roles assigned to them.

Analysis

The thriller script by Jon is good. He had excitingly designed the screenplay and attracted the audiences. The casting team has been receiving the appreciation from the audiences for choosing bright stars. The music and editing section are perfect. The production and the technical values are also good.

What's There?

Performance of Jason Statham is impressive
The VFX works are good
Cinematography, music and the editing are neat

What's Not There?

The sentimental scenes and the comedy scenes didn't work at all

Verdict

The Meg is a film that impresses the youngsters and the people who are very much interested in the science fiction thriller flicks. If you are a thriller movie enthusiast, then you will like this film for sure.
