An evil spirit Valak wanted to capture the whole world. Did Father Burke and Sister Irene fight with the evil power? What happened to them? Watch the movie in theatres

Star Performance

Taissa Farmiga had performed excellently well. Minute expressions flow easily and she fits into the character perfectly.

Analysis

The director has come with an interesting horror thriller in an idea to chill the spines of the audiences. Some scenes make the audiences come to the seat edge, especially in the pre-climax. The second half seems to be a bit long and some of the scenes where the ghost appears are forcefully made and in some places, the thrill is missing. The narration is a let out in some places and the scary movements are good in some places but the evil spirit Valak is not utilized properly.

What's There?

  • The performances of Taissa is good
  • The BGM is excellent

What's Not There?

  • The second half is lengthy
  • The narration is not much impressive

Verdict

If you go to the theaters without many expectations, you might like this film. If you have an idea that this movie will be equal to "Conjuring" then, you are wrong and it will certainly disappoint you.
