Plot

Stahlbaum and his family live in the Victorian era. Marie, the wife of Stahlbaum, is dying. To fulfill his wife’s last wish, Stahlbaum presents his children with Christmas gifts. His younger child Clara, who has a mechanical brain, is interested in solving the puzzles. She receives an egg-shaped box as a Christmas gift. Clara was unable to unlock it. She gets a clue from Drosselmeyer, an engineer to unlock it. However, she has to travel to a parallel world. The world that had mother Ginger had banished her now for her behavior. Clara, who gets into the world to find out the key to unlock her egg puzzle, had to solve the issues across the four realms. Did she do? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

All the stars who could perform well are provided with a blunt role and they had to do what they had been provided.

Analysis

The directors hadn’t polished anything specific with the script woven by Ashleigh Powell. However, the characters in the fantasy world are quite decent. With the Award Winning stars, the directors could have designed a better screenplay. The CGI works are good and the cinematography is decent.

What’s There?

  • Performances of the stars are okayish
  • The VFX and the cinematography are good
  • Fantasy world portions are good
  • The emotional portions are good

What’s Not There?

  • Highly talented stars should have been given better performance oriented roles
  • The screenplay didn’t impress much
  • BGM is not much impressive

Verdict

Although the film might not impress the elders, it might attract the youngsters. With some flaws, the film manages to engage the audiences. The Nutcracker And The Four Realms- could be watched once!
